More PicsPet Health Insurance $5.00http://www.maryshouse.us/Wobbles.htmThis is a little girl with serious problems with all her leg joints , front and back legs. I will post a video once I get a good one. But its like ALL her joints are too lose and they flop. She was born 12/12/08 in a puppymill06/08/09 We have a puppy dogtor appointment on Saturday. Its possible that this baby has rickets. . Its also possible that its a birth defect and will cost thousands to repair if its possible.06/12/2009 We saw the Vet today and all Wobbles problems are from walking on wire and malnurishment. She is on vitamins , had a calcium injection and she will be taken to hydro therapy at NAMC in hopes that they can teach her to walk properly. When in the wire cage at the mill , if she walked properly her legs fell thru the wire. 06/16/2009 Wobbles went yesterday for her first Physical Therapy at Nebraska Animal Medical Center. Of course the first thing that happens is their Vet looks her over to be sure she is ok to do the Hydro therapy and sets her schedule. We have found that both her kneecaps are totaly out of place, this will probably correct itself when she has the muscel mass to hold them in place. Living in the cage she had no exercise at all, and has no muscle mass to speak of. She can not see out of the smaller eye and it has a very small cateract on it. She was scared at first , but by noon was no longer scared of the people there. She played with another Peke out on the grass , and in puppy daycare after her therapy. Tried to steal a stuffed toy from another dog already , so she is learning how to play and getting socailized with many people. There is great hope that once she had some muscle her legs will work properly. If not then there will be a need for TWO luxating patella surgeries once shes healthy enough and big enough. 06/24/2009 So far they are putting soft splints on her legs to make her walk in the correct manor. Building up muscles and teaching her to walk up on her paws on her back legs.06/26/2009 Wobbles is making great progress with her hind legs just by building up the muscles , she can stand more than half way up now. Her front legs are an entirely different story , they still flop badly. I am sure she will be headed for surgery to tighten thoes ligaments in her elbows.07/17/2009 Wobbles is thru with Physical Therapy and now just needs to grow up and run and play to build more muscles in her legs.I am told that surgery on her legs will not work and will do more harm than good. All our dogs are house trained to the dog door and peepads.ADOPTION FEES: Puppies $300.00, Adults $200.00 , Seniors $100 I would like you to know that the fee amount doesn't even come close to covering our kid's puppy doctor bills , let alone any dog food.
